VACATION UPDATE

Hayyyyyy followers. Guess who found a computer?

Totally not me.

Anyways, after the miracle of finding a computer, I thought I would share some  of my personal life with you guys. (I know you secretly care.)

Sooooo. . .  here ya go.

I'm seriously in love with coffee, so of course I started my first day out right with a good 'ole cup of coffee.  A tall Pike's Peak Roast with a few pumps of coconut. Yummm.

Heyy look. . .the ground. . .

I almost bought this outdoor Bigfoot statue from an in-flight magazine. I just wanted to be able to say "Hey look, Bigfoot's in my backyard!" just once in my life. Yes.

Who got upgraded to first class??? MEEEEEEE!

Yes. I did get a new Christmas Tree ornament in the middle of June. I'ts so perfect for me, right?

I got back to my roots and got some deep dish pizza. Omigawd. So good. Oh, and to explain this picture, I was taking a picture of the Giordano's logo on the back wall and that guy thought I was taking a picture of him. So that one guy, if you are reading this right now, I wasn't taking a picture of you. I just needed to clarify that. Thank you.

And because I know you wanted to see what my pizza looked like so, here it is! I think you gain weight by just looking at this monster. So keep scrolling puh-lease.

Because I was going all out, I got some frozen yogurt on the same day as the pizza. Uhhh. Oh my.

My fro-yo. Cake batter flavor covered  with cookie dough bites. That just explains my life right there.  I really went wild. . .

Then later, I got my tan on. Ha. Just kidding, I burnt like a lobster.

I went extreme shopping and probably permanently damaged my arm. No seriously, There are still lines on my arm. . . Shopping is bad for your health. UGH.

Went to Bubba Gump Shrimp and got a hamburger.

Noooo. I got shrimp. I bet you could have never guessed that crazy order.

I got to hang out with the love of my life, this funny kid. He's my boyfriend. Unofficially. #foreveralone

Sat around at a gymnastics meet for my cousin all day. Nothing like feeling awful for yourself since you can't even touch your toes and these girls can do back flip walkover thingy-majiggers. Wooohooo.

I've been doing lots of rollerblading lately. Uhhhh. . . yeah that's it about this picture. . . Awkward.

I am ADDICTED to this stuff!! I've seriously drank about 1 zillion bottles of it. I need to go to rehab.

I have had the amazing privileged to ride around in the swag-mobile. Um no.

Lastly, (for now) I almost bought this dog here. The strangest dog at the pet store. He liked to chew on his dog bowl. But I thought he was AWESOME. The only problem was that this dog would set me back ONLY about 2,500 dollars. Oh yes. And he was on sale.

Well, I have to go now to find more vacation fun time experiences to share with you! Keep coming back! I love you guys!

IMPORTANT UPDATE

Dear my super fantastic amazingly amazing wonderfully awesome readers,

I am sad to update you on news that you probably won't like.

Please don't hurt me.

I will be going on vacation for a whopping 3 weeks. Also, after I get back I will be going on another vacation for 5 days shortly after.

Woahhh...

So that means that I will not have any new blog updates for maybe up to a month, which saddens me deeply. . .

So please hold on for me because I will be baking while on vacation and I will have new and exciting recipes for all of you. I just won't be near a computer to document them for your use.

But, after those vacations I will be home for the rest of the summer to blog to my heart's desire.

Also, I am sorry for not blogging for the last week.

I made some cookies that didn't turn out too well. They were complete failures and I was pretty much too ashamed to put them up on the internet. . .

Hey I'm a food blogger isn't my food supposed to turn out well?? Could you blame me? They're just a little burnt. . .

So again, I am sorry for the mishap and I can't wait to come back with new and exciting recipes for you to try in your own homes!

Happy baking!

Love,
Brooke

Whole Wheat Blueberry Muffins

So I bought another food magazine at the grocery store yesterday. Which made me realize something.

I am totally not a normal teenager.

Why do I say this? Well, let me explain my logic.

See, "normal" teenagers my age would be buying Lucky or J-14 magazines. While I am sitting in the magazine aisle at the grocery store staring down the food magazines trying to decide which one to buy.

Wow. I am the COOLEST.

Maybe there is something wrong with my genes. I should see a doctor.

Or a counselor. Heelllppp me.

So you probably guessed it already about where I got this recipe from. A cookbook?

NO.

A magazine, of course! Duh. I haven't really had anything to bake for lately and I know that you guys wanted to see some recipes so, I thought why not muffins? I have an obsession with muffins. I first got into baking because of muffins.

Whaaaa??

Well, my mom kept wanting muffins to eat for breakfast. So every Sunday I used to make muffins for the following week. But I have always been on a mission to keep my muffins healthy.

Ew. Healthy. I know.

Well just because it's healthy it doesn't mean that it can't taste good. I'm on a mission. Try this and tell me what you think! If it was a fail to you tell me. I can take it!

Truthfully, I'll cry. I blame society.
